On the backstage screen, click “Open & Export” on the left then click the “Import/Export” button. Open Outlook and click on the “File” tab. When you’re ready, it’s time to import your shiny new contacts file into Outlook. While this is often an optional step, it’s nice to be ready to undergo and make your contacts neat and consistent. CSV enter Excel and manipulate it by adding addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and other information which will help round out your address book. When the export is finished, you’ll open the exported. By default, contacts.csv is entered within the “File name” box as a suggestion for a reputation, but you’ll change that, if you would like. On the Save As panel, navigate to where you would like to save lots of your contacts CSV file. Click “Export” to start out the export process. Select the contacts you would like to export, and then select the “Outlook CSV format” option. CSV (CSV = Comma Separated Values, which suggests each field is separated by a comma) file. How to Export Contacts from Gmail and Import Them into Outlook During this article, we’ll demonstrate the way to first export your contacts from Gmail into Outlook, then export from Outlook into Gmail.
